At the start of the show, Cartman is playing "Wild Wild West." This is an obvious reference to 1999's Razzie Award winning Will Smith film that came out the same weekend as "South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut". In Cartman's version, Polly Prissy Pants plays Salma Hayek and Clyde Frog plays Artemus Frog.
On the night of a meteor shower, Mrs. Cartman goes to Mr. Mackey's party.
She hires Shelley to babysit Cartman while she's gone, and Shelley sneaks her boyfriend in. Cartman bristles at Shelley babysitting him, until he notices Skyler making moves on her in spite of his age. Cartman and Shelley then team up to get rid of Skyler, and Cartman finds that Shelley isn't such a bad babysitter after all.
This and the next two episodes (episode 0308 and episode 0309) all take place on the same evening - on the meteor shower, each from a different character's point of view.

On the night of a meteor shower, Liane goes to Mr. Mackey's party, leaving Cartman in the care of Stan's 12-year old sister, Shelley, who is an incredibly aggressive and violent-tempered bully. While babysitting, she invites her 22-year-old boyfriend, Skyler, over, who in turn invites the rest of his rock band to rehearse. Cartman, dressed up as Will Smith's version of Jim West from Wild Wild West, is in his room, trying to get a letter to his mom by sending out his cat, Mr. Kitty (which is in fact a female). Kitty, however, is in heat, and goes out in search of a tom. After an unsuccessful attempt with an overweight tom, she winds up seducing a large group of cats, and invites them back to Cartman's house. Eric tries to tell his mother the truth (that Shelley is breaking Liane's rule about having boys over) but she doesn't believe that Shelley would do such a thing, especially since she specifically told her not to have anyone over.
Back at home, Cartman takes a picture of Shelly and Skyler about to kiss, Shelly however finds the picture with the cat and takes it. During the meteor shower Skyler gets mad at Shelly because she will not put out because she is 12 years old. Cartman has taped everything and is about to get Shelley in trouble, but instead comes to pity her when Skyler, angry that Shelley will not "put out" for him, breaks up with her.
Cartman and Shelley team up for revenge, and sneak into the woods near where Skyler lives. Cartman manages to entice Skyler out of his house with a taping of his Salma Hayek impersonation while Shelley sneaks in and destroys his prized guitar. They return home to find Kitty and many other cats engaged in a massive feline gather. Skyler shows up, furious, but Cartman throws a box of catnip at Skyler, which attracts the clowder of cats, who attack him. Mrs. Cartman returns home. Shelley and Cartman blame it on each other, but, fortunately for them, Liane is such a drunk negligent lush that she passes out without noticing the mess. Shelley, amazed that they got out of the situation unscathed, celebrates by dancing with Eric.
